Sprinklers and Leaks Oh My!

The heat of the summer is upon us in Florida and that means it is drying out our grass as well. Most Floridians choose to use and irrigation system to keep their lawn fro  drying out and turning brown. Sprinkler systems do not always cooperate how they are suppose to and end up getting more than the lawn wet. 

We often see sprinkler heads that have gotten a mind of their own and decided to spray directly at the home. This causes the structure to weaken and eventually an water intrusion to occur. If this is caught relatively quickly we can dry in out while the sprinkler is getting fixed. However, if it goes unnoticed for some time it can cause growth and extensive damage in the home resulting in a  much larger issue and loss. 

Sprinkler systems should be checked often to ensure that this kind of mishap does not go unnoticed for long.
