Dehumidifier vs Humidifier

Humidifier

The humidity level in your home can affect any number of things from the structure of your home to your health conditions.

In Florida during the spring and summer months we have humidity to spare for the most part on the areas that are inland. During the Winter sometimes it can get a little dry compared to what we are used to. With the salt air the dryness can sneak up on you without noticing.

It is important to know the levels of humidity in your home because it can directly correlate to your health and breathing. Those effect can be better determined by a doctor.

Too much humidity can leak to damage within the home and eventually lead to grow. There is a fine line as to how much humidity is best for your living situation and damaging your home. Running a humidifier at night for easier breathing will not destroy your home. Leaking the humidifier running all of the time with a stream of moister could leak to damaging effects.

Having a hygrometer from an appliance store can help you determine what is best for you and your home.
