COVID-19 Measures: What you can do
3/27/2020 (Permalink)
While SERVPRO in Flagler County remains open and available to our community during the COVID-19 pandemic, we also wanted to share reminders of how to take care of yourself and loved ones during this time.
This information is also available on the CDC website.
Clean your hands often
Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds especially after you have been in a public place, or after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
If soap and water are not readily available, use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol. Cover all surfaces of your hands and rub them together until they feel dry.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
Clean and disinfect
Clean AND disinfect frequently touched surfaces daily. This includes tables, doorknobs, light switches, countertops, handles, desks, phones, keyboards, toilets, faucets, and sinks.
If surfaces are dirty, clean them: Use detergent or soap and water prior to disinfection.
(A complete disinfection guide is available on the CDC website.)
Avoid close contact - Practice social / physical distancing
Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
Put distance between yourself and other people if COVID-19 is spreading in your community. This is especially important for people who are at higher risk of getting very sick.
At this time of posting, it is recommended to stay in groups of 10 or less and physically distance yourself by at least 6 feet from others when in public.
Please remember that by following these measures, you are helping keep not only yourself, but many others in our community safe.
SERVPRO is the number one choice in cleanup and restoration, and we want you to be able to take advantage of any necessary services as it relates to COVID-19. Refer to our previous posts for additional information. Please be in touch with our team to get more information.
