How to Handle a Disaster for Your Business

When a disaster strikes most people first think of their homes and families for supplies, but what about your business? In the frenzy it is important to know what to do and who to contact for your business as well.
Do you have a plan in place for your business? Who knows about the plan other than yourself? Is there a contingency plan if you are out of the area, so you know your business and its' employees are being taken care of?
These are all very important questions to have the answers to before a disaster strikes or is looming. Here we want to list the most important things to have taken care of before the situation comes about.
1. Identify the risks that are possible for the area your business is located in.
2. Develop a plan
3. Implement and Train all staff
4. Have all supplies available for when it is needed.
It is important to make sure everyone in the business knows what is going on, the plan, and what their role is in order to take action immediately and have a smooth, safe, and effective plan.
