Quick Guide to Checking your Plumbing

Why wait until something leaks or breaks before you check it out. Here some quick tips to checking out your plumbing periodically before something happens.
Bathroom
You can do a quick check of all of your drains in your sink, tub, and shower. Making sure that the drains are clear of hair and debris will help the flow of the drains. Doing a toilet check with the tank lid off will make sure that you are saving water and that it's not continually running. Make sure you check the caulking around your tub and shower to ensure that water isn't seeping into your walls which can result in mold growth.
Kitchen
As with the bathroom, you want to make sure your sink drains are clear of debris and buildup. Pour drain cleaner in every few months is a good way to prevent any build up. You can make sure that your garbage disposal line is not loose as to avoid water lose under the sink that you normally wouldn’t be able to see.
