Mold in Florida

Living in Florida there is moisture constantly everywhere. The humidity is always in the air, whereas in the more northern states there is less moisture year-round in the air. With the amount of moisture, it is incredibly important the run the air conditioner in the home or business to reduce the amount and lower the risk of mold possibilities in the residence or working space. When the air conditioner is turned off the moisture levels quickly rise in the home and can cause growth quickly due to this amount.
Once the moisture is in the home it can be felt as well as seen when you know what to look for. The moist common places growth can be found are the bathroom as well as the kitchen. The bathroom can accumulate moisture and eventually growth even faster if there is not a fan, or the fan is not used while the shower is running. Moisture tends to cling to anything metal such as the vents in the ceiling or close to the floor. The kitchen is another common place due to cooking, as well as the number of appliances in the kitchen that use water. These appliances include the refrigerator and the dishwasher. The supply lines for these machines are commonly the cause of moisture build-up and leak.
To keep the moisture abundance down here in the state of Florida we need to keep the air conditioning on. We also need to use the fans in the bathroom to pull the heavily saturated air out of the room. We also need to use the fan on the stove when cooking anything with high amounts of steam.
