Storm Damage – Hammock Dunes Home
Storm damage to this older home resulted in a house fire from lighting. Luckily no one was injured in this disaster. The fire itself only impacted a portion of the house but filled it with smoke. The torrential rains and additional water used to extinguish the fire added to the damage. The structure and most of the exterior were saved, but much of the interior of the home had to be nearly gutted. The before photo shows the demolition underway. The after picture is the new bathroom constructed near the far exterior wall in the previous photo. Even catastrophic jobs like this one are still within the scope of SERVPRO of Flagler County.
